Delivering sustainable, clean solar power in central Germany

Delivering sustainable, clean solar power in central Germany

Commissioned in 2011, Kothen PVPP (Germany) is located in Köthen (Anhalt) and forms part of a 40 MW cluster—one of the largest in the region—delivering an impressive output of energy. It is connected to the MITNETZ GERM grid at a 110 kV level with five 22 kV transformer stations and has a DC nominal output of 4,613 kWh, which is enough to power 1,453 flats, and offsets about 11,428 tons of CO₂ annually.
