Position overview
DFG seeks a Project Manager (M1 Level) to oversee real estate projects in the CEE region from initial acquisition through construction and post-completion. Job Responsibilities
  • PROJECT PREPARATION & ACQUISITION STAGE: Identify and evaluate new real estate opportunities, prepare a master program, select and manage project consultants, lead contractor/subcontractor selection, and coordinate design and oversee permitting.
  • PROJECT CONSTRUCTION STAGE – Supervision & Coordination: Oversee principal contractor and other contractors, ensure delivery meets approved design, budget, and schedule, act as main contact for architects/engineers/contractors/consultants, initiate quality controls and standardized processes on site, ensure compliance with all permissions, identify and mitigate risks, implement environmental/health/safety measures, and monitor schedule progress and address potential delays.
  • PROJECT CONSTRUCTION STAGE – Contract Administration: Negotiate all project-related contracts, lead regular on-site stakeholder meetings, manage and update construction documents and drawings, handle changes through formal change notices/orders, maintain communication and data (Google Drive, internal IT tools), and coordinate the internal project team.
  • PROJECT CONSTRUCTION STAGE – Reporting: Prepare weekly reports (in Czech) for the division manager, and monthly reports (in English) for shareholders and financing banks.
  • PROJECT CONSTRUCTION STAGE – Cost Monitoring & Procurement: Validate monthly work statements and negotiate discrepancies, prepare and manage RFPs, organize and evaluate tenders with recommendations, maintain and update the project budget, ensure cost and revenue alignment with the approved budget, and provide inputs for budget and cash flow updates.
  • PROJECT HANDOVER & POST COMPLETION: Manage the snagging process, collect and verify documents for building use permission, and coordinate warranty claims with contractors.
